Bernice Lewis returns to the Railway Cafe at MCLA Gallery 51 on Nov 3rd at 7:30
to release her latest CD, She Undoes.
Roseanne Cash says, “Bernice is a voice full of light and hope.” And Dar
Williams says,”Bernice’s life is filled with beautiful, deep things, and
she writes beautifully and deeply about them.” It has been said that she
elevates the experiences of everyday life to an art form. She sings from a
woman’s perspective with wit and eloquence in distinctive, powerful vocals…
In addition to being a touring songwriter, she is a published poet, a
producer, and an educator. She teaches at Williams and Colorado Colleges,
and has been commissioned to document and record the songwriting process in
a therapeutic community.
Gallery 51 is located at 51 Main St., North Adams. Tickets for this event
will be $10 reserved in advance, $12 at the door and $8 students and
seniors. To reserve your spot, call 413 664-6393 or email

I would note that the Railway Cafe is the brainchild of alumna(and all-around swell human being) Laini Sporbert.
