As was recently announced, President Mary K. Grant was appointed by former Gov. Mitt Romney to two state boards that support science and technology advancements in the Commonwealth. The boards are the Commonwealth Information Technology Initiative Fund Advisory Board and the Robert H. Goddard Council on science, technology, engineering and mathematics education.
The North Adams Transcript featured President Grant’s appointment in its Friday, March 16th edition.
“It’s an important time to have a conversation about the challenges facing higher education,” Grant said in a telephone interview Thursday afternoon. “I’m glad to see all the different voices represented. I’m glad to be representing Berkshire County and the state college system.”
Congratulations President Grant!
