MCLA Student Receives $100 Gift Certificate Following Part-Time Job Fair

Following the Career Services Center annual Part-Time Job Fair held on September 6, 2007, BFAIR awarded a $100 gift certificate to Pooja Mulchandani who applied for employment with the agency. The certificate is for use at the MCLA Bookstore. The lucky winner was selected in a raffle containing the names of student applicants to BFAIR.

Berkshire Family And Individual Resources (BFAIR), a not-for-profit human service agency providing an array of intensive supports for adults and children with developmental disabilities and autism is excited to offer employment opportunities and internships to MCLA students.

The majority of clients receiving services from BFAIR are adults although the number of children and adolescents served by continues to grow. The agency specializes in tailoring supports to meet people’s needs and promote independence. Following a recent survey BFAIR was awarded its second two-year license with Distinction by the Department of Mental Retardation - the highest level awarded to agencies serving people with developmental disabilities.

Services offered by BFAIR include residential, day habilitation, vocational, clinical services for children and adolescents with autism, individual and family supports, and recreational services for adults with traumatic brain injury.
