When possible, please save your documents as a PDF before you upload them to your learning portfolio. PDF documents tend to be much smaller than the same document in Word, Powerpoint or Excel. Also, your readers may not be on a computer that has Microsoft Office, but may in fact be looking at your work from a Blackberry or I-Phone. When uploading documents, place them in your portfolio first, then link them to any learning communities you want to share them with. That way, you always have a copy in your own portfolio, even if the course or learning community goes away or gets archived. Leave a comment with a tip you’d like to share or request a tutorial.
